I Love CrossFit.

CrossFit is the first sport since gymnastics that I thoroughly enjoy.  Yes, I did all the other sports and had fun with them, but the individual sports are definitely my thing.  CrossFit is a sport that continues to motivate me year after year, day after day.  Luckily, I get to workout with my husband.  Unfortunately, my kids are not as passionate about CrossFit as their parents and therefore feel “stuck” at the gym.  Realizing this about my family changes priorities.  Yes, my kids will still be “stuck” at the gym because unfortunately, they are the children of gym owners.  I know that even though they feel “stuck”, they do still enjoy the gym, but because it is not their thing, I make sure to also spend a lot of time OUTSIDE the gym with them.  If CrossFit has taken you away from the things you love, such as, biking, hiking, horseback riding, painting, reading, and especially relationships, think of where you want your priorities to lie.  CrossFit is a wonderful hobby, but so is gardening, ice-skating, traveling, children, and doing activities with significant others, family and friends.  I hope that CrossFit does not ruin these joyful things in your life.
